EZY-TURN #4 PLUS is ideal for applications requiring moisture & hydrocarbon resistance. It is pumpable to temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C) when used with a high-pressure lubricator and with the softer consistency is more easily pumped for hydraulic fracturing applications. It has very good hydrochloric acid resistance but also has additives to neutralize the harmful effects of hydrochloric acid in valves pulled from Frac service.
EZY-TURN #4 PLUS is formulated using entirely polyester base fluids with wide temperature capability and contains molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) inhibitors. The base fluids provide increased resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbons when compared to vegetable-based products while the enhanced thickener blend provides greater service resistance than our standard EZY-TURN 4. The MoS2 enhances sealing and lubrication by burnishing into scratches effectively renewing surfaces.
EZY-TURN #4 PLUS is resistant to aliphatic hydrocarbons and lowers the torque necessary for smooth valve operation while protecting internal surfaces from scoring and galling. It has excellent water resistance but is not recommended highly alkaline service.

EZY-TURN #4 PLUS is recommended for use in gate, ball and globe valve applications requiring aliphatic hydrocarbon and acid resistance or where high and low temperature extremes are encountered. Suitable for valves used in hydraulic fracturing.
