KORR-GUARD EXTREME™

KORR-GUARD EXTREME™ is the next-generation, water-displacing corrosion protection compound engineered to provide extended storage protection for threaded connections, machine components, and equipment exposed to harsh storage environments.

This enhanced formulation utilizes Jet-Lube's proprietary calcium-based thickener technology, where the corrosion inhibitors are chemically integrated into the thickener structure. This technology helps minimize additive depletion while maintaining a continuous protective barrier during extended storage periods.

KORR-GUARD EXTREME is formulated without added lead or heavy metals and uses REACH-compliant raw materials, which classifies the finished product as a mixture, eliminating the need for individual REACH registration.

Residual KORR-GUARD EXTREME films are compatible with most conventional soap-based grease systems and thread compounds, with the exception of clay-thickened greases, where complete cleaning is recommended prior to application. On drill string connections, typically less than 5% of the storage compound remains after thread compound removal. For best results, wipe away heavy deposits before applying thread compound.
